Love this place! Thanks Mike for the awesome food experience of Tall Tree Cafe. I’ve been hearing some great stuff about Tall Trees for a while and had to check it out. The menu is simple and delicious. The staff was friendly and appreciative of our business. I really enjoyed the Spicy Mortadella. The bread was so fresh. This place offers sandwiches, salads, and tasty dips. The French Onion dip was yummy. They do cold brews and hot coffee also. I strongly recommend this place. Easy parking in Ferndale.

Ugh. I wanted to like this place. The sandwich was good. Until i was on one of my last bites and i saw a long black hair sticking out :/ Nobody in my life has black hair like this and im a blonde so it’s not mine. Pretty disappointing when you spend $17 on a small sub just to find a long hair in it… Wouldve been a decent sandwich if this didn’t happen. Really gross tbh im sad that this happened because ive heard really good things :(

Divine sandwiches, salads and spreads! Love this place!
Just had an incredible experience at Tall Trees. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and they were very helpful and accommodating with a dairy allergy for one in our party. Cannot recommend this place enough. It is small so it’s best for a group under 3 or just for a grab and go order.

From the moment you walk into this cozy cafe, you are welcome by the staff and know you’re going to get food prepared by people who love what they do. My daughters and I had the chicken caesar sandwich and it was amazing! The dressing was perfect, there was a good amount of chicken and the crunchiness of the chicken skin was something that I never knew I always needed in my sandwich. WOW!!! We ended our meal with the strawberry tiramisu and it was one of the most amazing desserts. I highly recommend Tall Trees Cafe and will be back with my family.

The sanguich de chayote was delicious. Love the fact that they have fresh home made fridge items as takeaway as well.

I've been here three times now, live across 8 mile on the avenue and it's great to have a sandwich stop so close by instead of having to head down to Detroit. Had a few different offerings at this point everything has been great, standing in line waiting for the sandwich the first time Mike (owner) gave me and another customer some mango horchata he was working on to sample. On a nice day you can sit outside or in the grass or I like my truck bed personally lol. Definitely a small business worthy of your support and repeat patronage.

Stopped by for lunch today and ordered a turkey sandwich option which was absolutely delightfully good. Though the price is a little high, the flavor and value of the sandwich was also high as well. I'm keeping this spot on my lunch list.
