The Corner Grill, Bar + Game Room

Does it need to be 86 degrees in here? It’s Sunday, July 6, 2025 and we’re here for brunch. We asked three times for any type of airflow in here. Today is a 95° day. It’s not even 11 AM and it is sweltering hot in here and we are trying to have brunch.

I got out of bed this morning to come to your establishment and spend money and you can’t even give me the decency of a room-temperature experience

My Queens and I came for the brunch and game experience to celebrate Trice’s birthday. It went pretty well. Not much to complain about. Nice time and I will return

Such a fun place to hang out and play games! Very inexpensive to reserve a game table too! Staff is always very friendly and the drinks and food are great.

Good place to eat and have fun with friends and family

We planned a birthday for Bingo and games. The food was excellent and everyone was satisfied. Everyone also had a variety of the Brunch Drink Specials. It was a cute stop for lushy day drinking.

Came here on a Thursday night for trivia. Great place with extensive beer menu, great food and tons of board games! A must for anyone visiting Ferndale.

Just left and wanted to write a review ASAP! Took my guy here for his birthday. We went to the bingo brunch. Even though there weren’t many people there at 10 am the bingo host played the game and awesome music in between each number being called. We each won bingo and got some fun prizes - shirts and games. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for playing games. The hostess was very welcoming. Our server was sweet and attentive and the food and drink were fantastic! What a gem! Can’t wait to come back!

Came in for my 30th Birthday on Saturday. Since I was unable to make a reservation since people would be showing up staggered, they were able to get us a table and as people came in they were very accommodating. Once our group expanded beyond the amount that could fit at the table, they helped us move two together to accompany our group. The server, manager, bar staff, and front/host/hostess were all very helpful. Food and drinks were great as well. We sat at the game tables so of course we played card games for what seemed like eternity.

Omg!! The chicken sandwich, double smash cheeseburger and fresh baked pretzel were all so perfectly delicious!!! We be ordering every week!!

Fun place, nice ambience.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE GLUTEN ALLERGY!!

We walked by this spot and were immediately intrigued by the game wall and vibe! It was full that evening but we went back today for brunch.

It was pretty dead for bingo brunch and as such we did well at bingo.

But, DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE A GLUTEN ALLERGY!!! Initially the waitress said there was nothing gluten free. But then she checked with the kitchen and they said the eggs, hashbrown, and vegetarian sausage were safe. They were not safe and my wife, who has celiac disease, has been sick the rest of the day! The food was not overly flavorful, and they did not have salt and pepper out on the tables.

Our waitress wasn’t overly knowledgeable about the menu.

The space is a fun concept but our experience certainly did not measure up to our hope!

Dietary restrictions: The brunch menu was not marked with any dietary restrictions. And the wait staff did not accurately answer as to the safety of items. If you have dietary allergies I would not eat here if you want to enjoy the rest of your trip.

Celebrate someone’s birthday and I ordered the Savory Skillet Dutch Baby and added a medium over easy egg. It was delicious! Another one of my table mates ordered the same thing and she said it was okay. However she never had a Dutch pancake before. I say if you love Dutch pancakes go for it. If you never had Dutch pancakes I say it worth a try. You may enjoy it!
