I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food is exemplary every time I've been there, I always dream about the next time I can come eat again. But this review is about the service, which cannot be beat! From the hostess, to our waitress who made sure we were taken care of at every step. Then to the 4 employees who came to our rescue when my car battery died in the parking lot, and they immediately stepped up to help us get on our way quickly with support and care.
The friendliness and care that we experienced, even in unexpected situations is unmatched and seems like the result of an amazing work culture/group. Bravo to the folks at Toast for always showing up 100%!

It wasn’t the worst experience, but it could have been better. I had gotten the 2 eggs and bacon and the bacon wasn’t great, in all honesty not worth $16.50. My server didn’t seem too enthused about her job, however I do understand it was a Sunday brunch lunch rush. What made the experience bad most of all was the fact that my brother in law and I had gotten shorted on the bill. All in all, Toast is a cute corner brunch spot, but the experience could have been better.

My server, Squid, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I had the Petoskey Omelette along with a peach mimosa. It was fantastic. Whenever I go to Toast, I want to sit in Squid's section. Hats off to Squid!

This is probably one of my top 5 favorite spots for brunch in Metro Detroit. They have excellent food, quality customer service and enthusiastic staff! My favorite items on their menu include their Eggs Benedicts as well as their Bacon Fried Rice as a side. They have this Banana Coffee that's actually a lot better than it sounds, I love their eclectic menu options and cozy diner vibes. I would recommend if you're thinking about visiting this establishment that you come early. This place fills up quickly and there is ALWAYS a line out the door if you don't get here promptly, no later than 9/9:30 am, an hour to an hour and a half after they open. Other than that I love this place and I'd go here all the time if I lived closer.

What a treasure… food, service, and atmosphere were very compatible with what I want… a chill (cool) setting with awesome staff, and great food. The bennys were fantastic; recommend the Spanish coffee. Loved the atmosphere… very eclectic, diverse, and funky.
