Grabbed some to-go items yesterday. Very disappointed. So far both the Kooky Monster ice cream and the ice cream in the cotton candy ice cream sandwich have no flavor. Hopefully the salt of the sea will be better.

Great service! The staff was really nice and helpful, they have can options. The ice cream was surprisingly delicious! There are 2 other food options within the same establishment. You can relax within the establishment and enjoy your treat as well. Beautiful environment.

Sharing a space with a sandwich shop and tea shop, they made their ice cream and sorbet. While the ice cream sundae I had was good except the fried Oreo at the bottom which was as hard as a rock the grape sorbet reminded me of the Kool aid ice cream I made as a kid 50 years ago. Many of the flavors are just weird for the sake of being different to us outside the normal age group they serve. The baked treats are more normal and very good. Parking behind in a city paid lot. Plenty of space for eating in and even some books to enjoy. Old school video games machines to play. Fit in perfectly for Funky Ferndale.

I strongly suggest the Jalapeño ice cream. Spicy ice cream? Yes please!The SO couldn't get enough of the Boston Cooler. They also have books, comics, and video games.Dietary restrictions: Items are marked, and I overheard someone asking about red dye in one of the ice creams, so it appears the servers are very aware and can talk you through what may work for your dietary restrictions.

How have I not reviewed Treat Dreams yet?! It's been one of my favorite spots for years and I love their ice cream! My favorite flavor is Coffee Oreo, hands down. Best combo ever. But when they don't have that it's fun to try the other (sometimes pretty unique) flavors. I also appreciate all the non-dairy options they have! Bring a cooler because you're going to want to stock up and take some home.

Went with my hubby to a Yelp event which said he had one guest with him. When we got there I wasn't on the list, my husband showed the girl what Yelp said, but she said no and so I was given some options, but I was too far down the counter where my hubby had to check in and couldn't really read the options well (hand written on chalk board). I ended up getting just one scoop of vanilla with waffle cone broken over it (due to the list she told me since not being able to get to menu from someone blocking) and I just chose waffle cone due to the options she quoted off to me. To be honest our server really didn't impress me because she didnt see me officially on the list although my hubby showed her the Yelp... she just seemed a bit annoyed. It seemed I got a bit of an attitude. Hubby had to pay for mine, while He got his. Would I try again? Eh.... I'm sure they have good items, but when you treat me kind of eh, my attitude becomes the same.

I absolutely love this place! Never been to an ice cream shop like this before! They had coffee, pastries and icecream! Plenty of seating options to choose from and a couple arcade games! It was definitely worth going! My favorite was was the red velvet icecream! It was rich and creamy and smooth with red velvet chuncks I did have a fried Oreo as well but I didn't like it very much. Service was fast and the people working there were very friendly! It's definitely a spot were you can have a good date or go with family and friends! The atmosphere is perfect for any occasion

Amazing customer service and get you your order in a timely manner. I would recommend this to all my friends and family. The sundae with the fried Oreo puff was the most delicious thing ever created and it's definitely like a coffee shop setting and an ice cream shop all in one.

This is a cute little icecream shop that shares a space with a sandwhich shop and a coffee shop. There is a lot of seating inside with cute little books to look through. The ice cream shop offers a unique blend of different flavors. I tried the cookie monster which is vanilla ice cream dyed blue with cookie dough. They also hbae some desserts such as cheese cake, brownies, oreo puffs, and chocolate covered desserts. They also have bread pudding available on Sundays. I got an oreo puff in my dessert. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star is because I showed up at 1pm as the first customer. It took 25 minutes for the oreo to be ready. I did love that it was warm and fresh but I was quoted 14 minutes by one staff and the other said it should actually only be 8 minutes. 25 minutes isnt too bad for a fresh batch but some customers may not want to wait that long.

I participated in a Yelp elite event to try a sundae at Treat Dreams in Ferndale. I was asked what flavor of ice cream I wanted for the sundae by a very friendly employee. They had regular ice cream and vegan choices. All of the flavors were unique and sounded so good. I asked to try the coconut cream pie which was excellent but ended up going with the double chocolate chip for the sundae. I love chocolate and this ice cream was delicious! They have many unique flavors, the ones at the top of the menu board are available all of the time and the other flavors rotate. The free samples given were a nice size which helped narrow down my decision. The sundae was 1 scoop served in a cup on top of a breaded oreo topped with cherry sauce. I also opted for the whipped cream and cherry. The sundae was really good, but honestly the ice cream is so tasty it would have been great just on its own. I loved that they had unique flavors that you don't see at a traditional ice cream shop. I will be back!
