We stopped in at Loons Nest while visiting Fife Lake and had a wonderful experience. The vegetable omelette was fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. Fife Lake is such a cute little town, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Fantastic find on our way home from Traverse City! This little gem is worth taking the slower drive off the main highway when heading up north or back home. The owner is the operator and makes you feel right at home, like you are in his kitchen instead of establishment. Must stop at!!
If I could give 6 stars for each category I would. The atmosphere is super warm and cozy. The staff are extremely hospitable and always quick to refill coffee. But it would be all for naught if the food wasn't tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection and the toast was from fresh baked bread. I don't live in the area but the next time I drive up to Northern Michigan, I would stop here on the way to and from.
