The servers were very pleasant and the owner greeted our table herself which I appreciated.
Food was amazing! We had the cajun shrimp as an appetizer (9/10)
the salmon with steak fries and red beans & rice and corn bread (10/10)
And the pulled pork mac & cheese (8/10)
Also had a apple martini that was delicious.

Took my parents there for Fathers Day -was our first time there. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and great service. We sat waterfront with the doors wide open. Beautiful view of the river and a nice breeze. Slower, jazzy versions of modern and classic songs on the sound system.

The food was amazing and we all ordered something different so we had a good portion of the menu and it was all delicious. We are from the south and have high expectations that they met and exceeded.

Rib dinner - get the large size and take it home for 2 more meals like I did! These were the meatiest, juiciest ribs Ive ever gotten at a restaurant! The sauce was savory, sweet, and a little kick to it. So good! Chicken tenders were fresh, crispy and juicy. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and large portion as well. Brisket sliders were juicy and yummy. We had the okra and made short work of it, hot and crispy, fresh fried. Yams were perfectly spiced and cinnamony. Steak fries large and crisp. Collards were perfect. Husband was happy with his buttery corn. Mac and cheese wasn't what I expected. It was my least favorite but was good with cork screw pasta. All the sides are big enough to take some home with your other left overs. All entrees come with a little slice of sweetish cornbread.

There are 3 areas to dine - the downstairs near the front door and bar. Upstairs (where we sat) has a large fireplace in the middle of the room, nice decor, 2 large bay doors that open onto the river and a patio area right at the riverfront. Staff was very attentive and the owner was there expediting orders! She was very nice and you can tell she takes pride in her establishment and she wants you to have the best experience possible. The outside has elegant signage and the inside matches. I thought we were under dressed when I first got there in my shorts and pullover but people were dressed to the 9s and also in tshirt and jeans. Everyone was made to feel welcome and treated the same.

My husband and I are going back for a date night. My mom sent me a message that my dad asked her when they can go back (it's only been 18 hours, lol)

Needless to say, we found a WINNER! Ill be trying the catfish and grits next time and my husband wants the fried chicken. I know we will have this place in our rotation for just the 2 of us and for family get together.

If you haven't been here you should get up and run to place. We came on Father's Day to say that they were packed would be an understatement. The wait for dinner was a little long rightfully so they were busy but they kept us updated timely. We had drinks that were great fried green tomatoes and smoked salmon dip that were both something I would rave about. But when the food came to say that the food was worth the wait does not give it justice. The food was not just good it was Amazing not just 1 thing EVERYTHING. My kids had ribs my husband had catfish and I had fried chicken we all had an arrange of different sides we all tried each other's things everything was great more then great. The owner Mo was warm inviting and friendly and she was moving around that restaurant doing as much work as all the staff in there and they were all running they were very busy. The staff were all friendly and on top of it if one person was lacking another person picked up the slack the teamwork was great. The bartender was also great and friendly and the drinks for amazing. My kids even had mocktails that I would have ordered and drank on a hot day. I can't say enough good things. I left there and told 4 people they needed to go there and eat. i joked with Mo told her we were talking her home so she could cook for me everyday. 😂
But she has built a beautiful place I hope it stays busy and she is able to share that talent.

Ribs were decent. Wouldnt order chicken wings again. Mac and cheese was ok. Cornbread was dry.

Everyone was pleasant and smiling and the place looks immaculate.

We sat in the bar area and there was an odd smell though like a strong cleaner.

Averaging a 3 for Food, 4.5 for service and 4.5 for atmosphere for a 4 overall.

For starters my wife and I waited about a hr before we asked how much longer before our meals would be out and there response was 45 minutes, we left they also had some pricey prices $9.00

Hidden gem..definitely worth the trip..had dinner with my lady..she had the fried catfish and it slapped..I had to get the smoked wings because they didn't have a fried chik breast..the wangs were too big (IYKUK) but they were good. The soulfood rolls were fiyah..the sides were good but the M/C was average. Customer service was impeccable and the owner came out to speak to us. The atmosphere had date night vide with the river in the background..Sweet!

Food is incredible and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is so peaceful and welcoming. It’s right on the Huron River, with a beautiful patio and renovated historic building.

The ambience is truly amazing! This is by far one of thee most elegant environments directly off the water. Perfect for date nights. I’m looking forward to my 1st date here. If you’ve never been … you have to check this place out. The food is good the service is even better. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
