This was my first time eating from this restaurant and I was disappointed, especially for the price I paid. I purchase the oxtail dinner and it didn't taste like authentic jamaican oxtail. The oxtail was salty, the mac and cheese lacks cheese, the cabbage was mushy and over cooked the rice was drenched with sauce. I order an extra side of rice and for the price I paid I was expecting to get more than 4 bites in a tiny bowl. I went to other jamaican restaurant and get the same thing for cheaper with 100% better tasting and a lot more food. The saltiness of the oxtail could raise one blood pressure. I feel like I wasted my money. I was not expecting this for $35.

What a Gem! Located on Beecher Road near McLaren hospital the location is spot on to serve the community. The vibe inside was nice with rich island music and what looked and smelled to be authentic Jamaican cuisine. The staff was friendly and helpful with making my selection.After being away from my NYC home for more than a decade I’ve been craving me some beef patty with cheese but always seemed to pass this convenient spot on Sunday when they are closed.This was the day though when I saw they had the beef patty on the menu sans cheese but nonetheless sounded enticing. After a brief rundown of the menu an entree of oxtails with sweet potatoes and mac & cheese was being prepared.My takeout order didn’t take long and I enjoyed the decor and music while I sipped on an orange sof drink. The owner greeted everyone kindly and shared a little background about the restaurant and its inception with me telling me they’ve only been in business a year.Good Food! Good Location! I wish you all the best!!

I recently traveled to Atl Jamaica ?? from 2 hours away and I must say the aesthetics was very nice on top of the food being amazing I actually got to meet the owner Ms Angela who was amazing and very friendly my mother and I ordered Jerk chicken with rice and peas with cabbage and Mac & cheese it was so delicious….It was fresh the Carmel cake was so moist and good the ox tails were so tender and seasoned so good honey needles to say we will be back & we enjoyed our visit 10/10

I give this place no stars, I came here for the first time ever and was highly disappointed, I ordered oxtails to open the box and realized I payed $34 for 3 small oxtails with red beans and rice at the bottom with two other sides what a waste of money I will never come back to this place again don't waste your money

This is the third time trying this spot and it’s just not it. The food is lacking flavor. My veggie party was burnt and dry. I will drive the distance to experience way better Jamaican food. This is not good at
