Under new management, Golden Gate Restaurant on Flushing Rd offers breakfast and lunch. The staff greeted with genuine warmth and made guests feel welcome. However, the waitress was not professional and did not introduce herself. There was a 15-minute wait for a carry out order, and customers were not recognized, though the food was discounted. A problem exists with their biscuits and gravy: very little gravy, and one biscuit was so hard the fork would not go through it. Very disappointing.
