I like the food here but had a poor customer service experience this afternoon. I ordered a sandwich with a simple request to remove the green pickles. I know the blonde employee heard me correctly because she repeated back 'no green peppers,' which we both knew weren't in the sandwich, and I corrected her, which she confirmed and wrote down. The cashier also confirmed no green pickles when I paid. However, when I picked up my order, they removed the pickled turnips...

Generally, I am not the biggest fan of shawarma, gyros, etc., but the quality and flavor at Beirut is out of this world... it's hard to not go there for lunch every day! The staff are very friendly and fit right into the positive energy of the Flint Farmer's Market.

1st time in Michigan and 1st time eating this type of cuisine. My sandwich was very well made, tasted great, and the woman that checked us out was very friendly and personable. Well worth it!
