Atmosphere clean spotless! Service went here because in case you didn't know this is the original Big John #1 and heard the guys that ran this spot were the best in town and they were not lying made my sub perfectly. I will definitely be returning and thank them for the awesome food.
Big Johns is a Flint icon!! If you want a tasty, belly filling sandwich, this is it!! It's Not the cheapest, but, it is the best. I highly recommend the steak and onion, the club and other sandwiches are great as well. Though, their reputation was built on the original steak and onion!!!
We always go out of our way to eat here if we are anywhere near Flint. I have always given 5 stars for service in the past. Unfortunately, last Friday, there were a couple of mistakes. It seemed the gal was new. I hope the more seasoned staff will help her out. We LOVE these sandwiches! I wish Mt.Pleasant still had a Big John Steak House!
