Sweetwater Tavern Reviews
Went to downtown location Sunday evening. Took forever to get a server I actually went and found one. She was great her name is Kayhla. Sweetwater Tavern, whether in Detroit or Flint, is well known for its famous Sweetwater Wings. Customers often praise the wings for their unique flavor and the right amount of spice, especially the dry buffalo style, which is considered the best in Michigan. The rib tip and wing combo remains a popular choice among visitors. The menu also includes pizza, ribs, salads, and sweet potato cheesecake, which many find delicious. The service is generally quick, with most customers waiting no more than 20 minutes for their food. However, some reviews mention inconsistent taste and preparation of the wings, with experiences varying on different visits. The Flint location has been noted for slower customer service at times. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere often features lots of football. Overall, Sweetwater Tavern is recognized for serving up tasty chicken wings and a good dining experience, despite occasional service hiccups or issues with bartenders.
