Experience was horrible. There were only a few occupied tables when we seated. There were 5 of us going to the theater. We we served water. Had to wait for the waitress to come back and take our drink order. We gave her our food order at the same time. She kept asking after each person "is that all" . We then had to wait for our drinks. Had to ask someone other than our server if we were going to get them. When she finally came back with them only 2 of the bottled beers were correct. After going back to the bar and getting someone to help we got drinks except for 1 person. The food came. It was incomplete. They didn't have mayo for a hamburger. The chicken sandwich didn't have the pickles or any sauce. The side of mac and cheese was dried out and in the smallest bowl. My 6 jumbo shrimp were supposed to be split and cooked were 6 tiny shrimp with regular hardly toasted garlic toast. This place is a joke of a restaurant. The manager did nothing to make it right. Just plain don't go there.

A very welcome addition to the downtown area. They know what they are doing and serve the same great food as their other locations.
The food was amazing! The owner was great! Had a great chat with him. Bartender was way way heavy handed with the alcohol. I love me some drinks but I couldn't finish my 2nd drink because it was too much (it was a long island ice tea) Bartender seemed like she was NOT sober. She was very snotty. She was rude to other customers and just left the bar unattended for a while, and many customers, including my husband and I, were waiting for drinks.

Co worker and I picked up lunch there today, the whole place smelled like sewage water. Very expensive lunch for a greasy mess. I got chicken tenders ( $20 for that is insane but gave them a try anyways)and it was all batter and plain grease. My fries were cold for them just opening at 11. Workers barley said a thing to us, horrible service.

Wife and I ate here early November on a Sunday. Their wing game is the best in Michigan, dry buffalo with perfect spice, Wow!! Ribs and side salad ranch really good. I liked the traditional fries, they're not that floured crunchy ish they're doing at other restaurants. Sweet potato cheesecake is a must, dang! Very friendly staff! Thank you Sweetwater Tavern, we'll be back!

Nothing but a great time! We had ribs & wings and a salad that were all amazing!!! And took a cheesecake home that was incredible. Staff & atmosphere was really nice too. Lots of football on too. Will be back soon!

I've always loved Sweet water tavern. And I've been going to the Flint location, sunce they first opened. They have really good food. I definitely recommend the Stromboli, wings and they have really good burgers as well. I only eat in occasionally. The atmosphere is cool. Everything is clean. But the highlight of every visit, for me atleast is when i get a to go order. The to go girl with short hair named Morgan is always my favorite. She's not only very beautiful and friendly. But ontop of that, she always gets my order right and makes sure i have all the sauces and utensils i need every single time. And She's so warm and attentive. She definitely deserves a raise lol. But if you haven't tried the downtown Flint location yet, i highly recommend you do. And you won't be disappointed!

Hello manager. Please instruct your staff how to clean the windows and and glasses. Every window was dirty. The front door glass was so dirty, we almost did not go in. And most disturbing was that the waitress picked up four water glasses and inspected them for cleanliness before deciding which one to use that was least dirty, leaving the remaining dirty ones in place instead of putting them back in the washer. Disgusting.... Really, fix this.

(Flint location) We sat at the bar, the man at the bar literally said NO WORDS to us just a shake of the head.. the other female bartender was being nice to everyone and laughing but when we asked for a box (bc our waiter was not paying us any mind) she barely shook her head. Felt very awkward & out of place, plus the food was barely good enough to eat. We won’t be back, could have given the food a second chance but Service was absolute GARBAGE

There was a special of perch dinners and they come back and told us there was only one perch dinner left so we ordered one catfish dinner. The waitress never came back with the perch dinner. They did with the catfish dinner and we waited and we waited and finally they brought all his soup clam chowder, it’s been sitting underneath the heat lamp and a film top. Finally, they brought out the perch dinner and it was been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time no corn on the cob. The corn in the bowl was dried out around the edges, the chicken wings were dried out from setting so I don’t recommend eating there won’t be back …
