After a long time, I was finally able to come in on a day when it was open to try it out. Sadly, the final product did not completely live up to the expectation. I hear they are or were the best burgers in town. It wasn't bad, but I had more flavorful burgers from other places, whether coney islands or Culvers (etc.). The fries, even when I put salt on them, were on the bland side, I did not finish those. The service was really nice. I could felt she wanted me to have a good meal/experience there. I probably would not go back, at least not on my own. There are just too many options to go get a better burger and fries from.

It's a bar that changes with the time. And, it's been around a long, long time. The food is good. The hamburgers and accompanying fries, onion rings, etc., are very good. You can smell the history of the place in the air. And that is not a bad thing.

Do not go here if you have the rare case of having a vertical license over the age of 21. The misinformed manager will refuse you service and argue with you about it instead of just dropping it. Me or none of my friends will ever go here ever again. Train your staff better.

Disappointed. Stopped in for lunch with a coworker because we wanted a good burger. Used to love the food here. Not sure what’s going on lately though. “1/2 lb” burger is more like 1/4 lb. And 1/4 more like 1/8th. Bun was soggy. I have had better and bigger burgers at Burger King.
Beer list is still okay and the only reason for visiting.
Their pickle fries are absolutely slappin’. Only thing that could make them better is chipotle ranch instead of regular ranch. Idk if that’s an option but I’ll definitely be back to find out.

Burgers are delicious. Took a few mins but worth it. Cooked just right. Very nice help. Overall good burger for the money. Quarter pounder with fries only about 8$ in basket. Tasted fresh not frozen.
