The owner was pleasant and serves the community. He offered teachers from Flint Community Schools, United Teachers of Flint, free brunch as a thank you following a job action we took and to show his support.I did not know that they offered brunch on the weekends. Definitely don't plan to go back to this one...whoever cooks there uses BBQ/soy sauce on lamb chops...nowhere on the menu did it say anything about BBQ/ soy sauce...the food took forever and it was NOT busy what so ever.. there's no kids menu for the littles...I also don't like to go to restaurants that automatically add their gratuity....it just wasn't worth $170. with just the 4 of us..? we didn't even get any alcohol drinks...also the full slab of ribs was only compared to...read full review

I have been dining at Chop House for several years when visiting from New Mexico. Considered it best place in Flint--food terrific, ambiance nice, service spotty but acceptable. It apparently has now become a hip-hop joint--at least that is what it has appeared on our last few visits. That's fine--but not the culture I wish to experience when I dine out.
