I had a great time. The owners were delightful and gracious. I'm new to town, so it was refreshing.\nI see it as a vintage neighborhood sports bar; it has half a dozen TVs and the furniture and decor is wood and hardwood floors . . .\nAnd I was incredibly glad they BROUGHT FOOD BACK. The pizza is amazing - the owner makes the tomato sauce from scratch - wow, no wonder the pizza was the BEST.\nHighly recommend.
My experience at this tavern what's top of the line I don't know what people's expectations are I found it to be a very friendly relaxing atmosphere just what I needed after a long drive through the state of Michigan I stumbled upon Frankenmuth and I looked for a place to stay will the tavern nearby serve my needs as I read the previous reviews I said to myself wow I must go there now because everyone has dog them out to a point where I don't understand I must...
So after reading so many reviews I wasn't expecting much but this place blew us away . We walked in the back door to be greeted by a wonderful barman who's first words were "gentlemen, how can I help" it wasn't too busy but the seats were full at the bar . Instantly felt relaxed asking questions about beers I had never heard of being British (our selection on tap is alot smaller) Yes it is a bar , yes it is cash only but that's fine as the information...
