Mmmmmm GLUTEN FREE PASTYS! so I've never had one before and I never want to stop eating these. I got the yooper and the potato and cheese. This is good soul food. Bravo!

We travel to the UP a couple times every year and try to hit a new Pasty restaurant on every trip; we’ve certainly had our share. The pasties from the Pasty Haus can stand up to any of the UP efforts! Great crust, large cubes of veggies and chunks of meat, perfectly seasoned, and above all, not dry! They also offer unique combinations such as their Philly Steak pasty, which was a nice departure from a standard pasty. Vegan pasties are also available. They’re only 30 miles away, so we’ll definitely return!

We are so happy you have 3 vegan options here! We loved the vegan beef option most by far. The service was really good. Just know that to have a warm pasty, call 1 hour ahead of time because they may need 45 mins to cook it for you.
Just one thing… the vegan beef and chicken gravy’s were toooo salty

A few times a year I drive 2+ hours to Frankenmuth to have fried chicken at the Bavarian Inn.
The "Yooper" pasty I had here was good enough that I almost went home without the chicken

A good shop for a quick meal / snack that Michigan is known for.
Came for the pasty since this is one of Michigan’s famous known for foods.
Essentially a patty stuffed with different fillings. We got the yooper beef, cheesy potato and chicken pot pie, which is one of each of the ones they sell.
The pastry itself was so buttery and blended well with each filling. The beef was a little dry but it was countered with that buttery pastry. The fave for the family has to be the cheesy potato. Nice and creamy with the cheese and filling from the potatoes.
Service was great as they didn’t rush us into making any decisions and they also have a fridge of different bobas and popping bubbles, which I was really tempted to just buy one to go with a drink.
They have so many different flavours that you would not normally see anywhere else, which was nice.
There isn’t much of indoor seating to eat, but there is a few tables outside and an indoor seating area where the river place shops restaurant is by n’orlins beignets

the gluten free pasty is so good. the crust is just as large and puffy as youd expect on a gluten crust, and i cant even begin to explain how happy that makes me. im not even vegetarian, but i always get the cheesy potato one, because the seasonings and textures are so good, i dont even want meat. cheesy potato underrated
Vegetarian options: so many options, im not even vegetarian but i get the cheesy potato one just bcs of how yummy it is

Pasties are yummy, my favorite is the pot pie (so good especially with the chicken gravy) and the bubble tea?! Delicious, vanilla chai milk tea with brown sugar bubbles is my go to :) would recommend this place to anyone
