They have the best chicken strips. This is a summer favorite for me. I recommend eating inside or at the tables outside. A root beer float is so nostalgic. Sometimes takes a few minutes for the food to come out but it’s always hot and exactly what I expect. They have a drive up area too if you don’t want to get out of the car but that can take a little longer.
Every time we visit Frankfort Michigan, we have to stop by the local A&W for some root beer floats, foot long chili dogs, and cheeseburgers. Old style car hop service (minus the roller skates) is fun and memorable for the family. Servers are very friendly. You can also eat inside in vintage surroundings. Food is fine, but it does take some time to receive. We have a larger family (6) and it took about 20-30 mins from the time we ordered. It is definitely not fast food,...
