“Best Mexican in Benzie (and honestly Manistee)! I grew up with a Tex-Mex background, so this scratches my itch when I'm looking to have some frijoles and a marg. They have flavor, which is what many Mexican places around the area lack! Everytime we've visited, the staff has been very nice, quick, and attentive. Drinks were nice and strong ;) we went on Valentine's evening and only had to wait 20 minutes for our table during a busy rush.Vegetarian options: They cater to customizations!“
“The food is quite good. My wife and I like the use of coleslaw in the ingredients instead of rice which adds an interesting new addition flavor wise. We have one (big) problem with this place. They don't answer their phones and they are NOT always open when they advertise they are. They tend to shut down if staff is sparse or they have a catering job. You can't count on driving there and finding them to be open during 'advertised' hours.“
“Best Mexican restaurant we have tried since moving to Michigan from California. Cozy atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Everything felt thought out and intentional from the drink cups to the decor. They had a creative menu with flavors that actually deliver. My husband got the Cuban chimichanga and was very pleased! I tried 3 different signature cocktails and each one was presented beautifully and had its own notable flavor. We will definitely be back!“
