A nice gem of a dining room, hiding in plain sight on Main St. The four of us had lovely meals of fresh perch, wall-eye, and blue gill. The service was typical of late season Northern Michigan when short staffing leads to variability in experience, but overall, it was adequate. We loved the calmness of the dining room.
Bartender was really nice and made a great cocktail. The other servers were not attentive. We had water, coffee, and bottomless mimosas that never got refilled. The food was ok but one person at our table found hair in the french toast and again in the granola on her yogurt. They were different hairs and were really embedded in the food. It makes me question the cleanliness. I did enjoy the sriracha chicken. I've been to holiday buffets here and have loved it. I'm hoping...

Whitefish was over cooked. Salads were great.
Shrimp for the shirmp cocktail were frozen still in some spots.
Kids chicken and fries were great.
