Last week I tried Habibi for the first time, and I’m already planning my next visit! The place was clean and inviting, the staff were super kind and welcoming, and the food… wow. Absolutely heavenly. The spicy Habibi sauce is a must try!
Hungry Habibi in Shelby twp took great care of us Saturday night with a beautiful and delicious tray we took to a euchre party!

Located in town, Hungry Habibi offers a clean and inviting place with a nice ambiance. The staff is super kind, welcoming, and provides wonderful customer service. The food is fresh, well seasoned, and absolutely heavenly. The spicy Habibi sauce is a must try. Menu highlights include the falafel bowl, chicken shawarma dinner, side of hummus, Chicken Tawook, and the tray for 3, which is a great value for large portions. The falafel has a great crunch on the outside but fluffy on the inside, and the Chicken Tawook meat is very juicy and tender. The fries are also well known. The only things to note are that the tabouli was a bit on the dry side, and the restaurant needs to work on more sauces, particularly on the main courses. Overall, an amazing experience with great food and service.
