This is just a wonderful place in a peaceful Michigan town a nice drive from the Union Pier Lakeside New Buffalo world. Excellent coffee, muffins, pastries and sandwiches. Today’s special was Lox and cream cheese on a bagel, which was the best I’ve ever had.
The owners - Ray and Al - and their staff are delightful people.

So my reason for minus the star was the cost. I ordered a sandwhich and it was 10 bucks. That would have been fine but it was just a sandwich. Nothing came with it. No chips, no drinks. It was really good but it was just 2 pieces of bread with ham.
The other thing was the cost of the doughnuts. Again, good but it's just a cake doughnut with icing. Not worth 2 bucks. Martins has big ol cream stuffed doughnuts that are cheaper than that. Everything else was great but...

I was looking for something different and the spaghetti sandwich met that need in a delicious way. Nice atmosphere. Good on street and off street parking. I had a side of the hot coleslaw, which was equally great. I recommend.
