Really enjoyed seafoam & fudge! Would give those a five-star. Chocolates in jars were not made in store...not impressed with taste. 2 for 1 deal on fudge, but 2 were much more money/weight than 1 free slice. (2 paid for slices over $9 each, 1 free slice worth only $6, but maybe shouldn't complain as $6 was free). Prices are excessive but maybe needed to stay in business...& obviously some people are willing to pay.
Chocolate covered potato chips are the best. Also decided not to buy caramel apples in Mackinac Island because they are much better at Alpine. The store had a selection of U of M and MSU caramel apples to get ready for the big game.
Amazing ice cream and malts. This place uses real malt...not 'malt flavoring' like most places do. My friends and I tried several flavors - all great!
The $2 soft serve waffle cone (the full size kind!) deal is the best and the soft serve is waaay better than the fast food variety you'd get at DQ or Whippy Dip.
