Gaylord Michigan Firehouse subs is my favorite sandwich shop around. I really enjoy the Smokehouse Brisket, but all the subs I've had here are top notch. The staff is friendly and professional, they are happy to help and always greet you with a pleasant attitude. I recommend them, and will be back. Thank you.
If you have a food allergy you know how anxiety provoking it can be to eat out. While I was in the restaurant there were several gluten free orders. Mike was extremely considerate of safe food handling, made sure he followed everything exact amd communicated with everyone without even being asked. It was the best allery friendly service I have ever had!
We were in the area for the Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge walk. At 8:45 we walked into the local Subway where the employee rudely stated “I’m not gonna toast anything, I already shut down the oven”. She clearly wanted to leave the very second they were scheduled to close at 9:00.
That being said, we happened across Firehouse a few minutes later. I reluctantly went inside and asked if we could still be served as they were also closing at 9:00. I was greeted by Mike.....
