My wife and I travelled from the Traverse City Area to check this place out. I was raised by a southern father and have spent several years of my life living down south in the Mississippi/Texas/Louisiana areas. Right off the bat, really cool vibe going on when you walk in. Second the service provided by the waitress (she went by "JT") was top notch. This was a fun and phenomenal restaurant experience. I never write reviews but I loved everything about this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious- we ordered the raw oysters, alligator, lobster tail, steak, and cheesecake with bananas foster. I wish I could eat every meal for the rest of my life here.

Visited Gaylord today and really enjoyed Kane’s. Our waitress Irina was very attentive, friendly, and super sweet! She gave me the sweetest compliment. The food was delicious and the restaurant looks very authentic creole. Our booth was very private, felt like we were sitting in our own private room. Thank you for the great experience.
