First time at Alpine Tavern. Enjoyed the food and company. I'll go back when the opportunity arises. Had the Reuben and coleslaw. Was delicious. Haven't had a good Reuben in a while.
I love the atmosphere, the lovely young ladies schlepping beer, pizza and the occasional shot from that crazy man behind the bar that tends to put too much hootch in the drinks. The prices are within the high norm and the location is perfect for us. Their pizza is fair. If you like it salty, add Kalamata olives. We won't. A most excellent topping is carved beef brisket. Second time we've eaten at the Alpine. Food was very good for a Tavern style restaurant and our service was great. The background music was a bit loud, which detracts from the atmosphere. Recommend the brisket grilled cheese sandwich.!
