“This is our best donut find, so far, for Northern Michigan. Unlike Tim's around the corner, they use a good amount of filling on their lunch sticks and eclairs. They have a pretty decent variety of doughnuts in addition to other guilty pleasures like breads and cookies. Buy everything fresh made today or off the day-old rack. You can also fill out an order form and return another time. The prices are in line and the people are friendly. The shoppe isn't very big but I've never seen a large crowd. “Played Treetops, The Tribute and The Pines. Greens here were the best. Kudos to the greens staff as this course was maintained very well. A fun course to play that is very fair if you stay out of the trees. Great sandwich at the turn and reasonable beverage prices. A great time at a great course??“
“Second time we've eaten at the Alpine. Food was very good for a Tavern style restaurant and our service was great. The background music was a bit loud, which detracts from the atmosphere. Recommend the brisket grilled cheese sandwich.!“
“Food is always good...never had a bad meal at Culver's in Petoskey or Gaylord....only a suggestion for Gaylord store .. it is nearly March 1st and beautiful weather....you still have Christmas decorations....time for Spring decor....it is pretty...but out of season.“
“Best ice cream ever! If you grew up in Michigan, odds are Mooney ice cream is a favorite. They continue to add more great flavors over the years plus continuing the traditional favorites like Blue Moon and Superman ♂️ I had coffee with chocolate shavings. It was great. I'll be back next summer for more.“

“Had the place to ourselves on a Sunday fall evening. My filet was good, however it had mushrooms piled on it which wasn’t listed on the menu. My wife’s salmon tasted over-powering and a bit dry. Our waitress and bartender were friendly! They had a nice bonfire going outside. Colors were great on the hill!“
