“Nowicki’s sausages are a family favorite. We place orders to be shipped to California about once per year, unless I make a trip to Michigan, then i load up my suitcase up for the trip back. My favorite is Jalapeño Cheddar, my wife’s is BBQ honey, and my brother’s appears to be the Polish.“

“We attended a very small wedding reception at Tavern Inn the Woods last weekend and it was very nice. The food was good, the private room was beautiful, the servers were professional, and the bar was fully stocked with a pleasant and competent bartender... and she made me a tasty 'adult' coffee, which I needed in the cold weather! 😉“

“This place exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge. You definitely get plenty for your money. Caden was a fantastic server, friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We’re so glad we decided to stop here and would absolutely come back next time we’re in Gaylord. “Pine Squirrel was recommended to use by the Business Manager at Jim Weirnig. It did not disappoint. My pizza was cheesy and delicious. My husband had a specialty Sloppy Burger that he enjoyed. You have choice of chips or potato salad and he chose the potato salad and said it was very good. The service was amazing and it did not take long to get our food. We give this a 10 out of 10 ranking and highly recommend it.“
