“Wow! What a great little market. Had an exceptional experience today. They went out of their way to hand cut some killer ribeye steaks for me. Walking through the store it's obvious they know good product's, from their canned tomatoes to crazy good peanuts. I also had one of the best sandwiches ever! This is one cool market!“

The building is also beautiful and historic, really neat inside and out! After going a few times, we've learned how much Stiggs cares about and supports the people around them. “BRI has table seating and bar seating - in nice weather they have some tables (about 8 tables ?) on a smallish deck overlooking Boyne River - enjoyable - they also have several table out front on sidewalk, roped in area in busy summer time. Great service. Very busy in summertime as BC is a resort town. As a Local, we tend to eat out from Mid Sept to Mid May. We do get some out of towners in winter due to Boyne Mountain, but nothing like summertime Our first visit was in busy season and last visit was 2/19/24 We have had the following all have been FANTASTIC Pizza - once excellent Coconut Shrimp - 5 different times - all excellent Chicken Sandwich - once excellent Chili with toppings served separately (nice touch) once excellent BLT on ciabatta bun (sub style) ordered with bacon on side as that is how I like to eat mine - was beyond excellent, bun was so soft and so flavorful the BLT was a special the day we stopped in, not on menu, hit & miss if it is available, but if it is - it is well worth trying, comes with fries Fish Sandwich - excellent BRI Burger - excellent We have always had fantastic, friendly service, even the one time we went in summer when we got the last available table. We sat on deck and chatted with 2 other couples who were raving about what they had ordered“
“We had just discovered the Pointe this visit to Boyne City and wanted to try it for dinner. We were not disappointed. Had a nice lake view seating and shade was good. Our server Katie was friendly and attentive and helpful. Our food was well prepared and delicious. We will return next time we are in town.“
“We had an available time slot while vacationing in Michigan and stopped here before it even opened for the day. The guy running it was AMAZING. In fact, everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Shout out to Kay!The place was SPOTLESS. You can tell it is very well taken care of even though it is an older building.They give you free popcorn which was such a nice touch.We enjoyed a few drinks and ordered the paremsan bread bites and they were #chefskiss. “We were in Boyne City for a long weekend, and we googled restaurants. The reviews were all positive, so we wanted to make it our first place to eat. We liked it so much that we actually went back for dinner the next day. We had Whitefish, Steak. Wings and Maple ? Crack Dip for apps. Both were excellent, but we really loved the dip. Our nephew's recommendation. ?The service was great both days as well. My sister and husband both love LSP as well.“
“The food was great!My only complaint is i got a gumballhead 3 floyds beer from the paper beer list my server gave me and it did not end up being what the paper said. I later saw on the tvs above the bar that it was zombie dust. Then later i ordered an oddside shamrock beer and got another zombie dust instead. ?? dont know if it was a bartender or server problem but very disappointed with my beer experience.“
“We love this place and try to come a few times a year for special occasions. We went this past weekend for my dad's birthday and it was awesome! The $60 meal special allows you to try three dishes (appetizer/salad, entree, dessert). The drinks are always perfect. “Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the area, and showed me what was good on the menu, a trait that I wish every restaurant did. They have this pretzel that is big enough for 2 people to share, I'm talking about a foot wide pretzel. Fluffy and so good with the house chili. I personally got a reuben that was big and delicious. You could tell the food is fresh. Great prices as well.They have some "rare" drinks at the bar that would make the whiskey snob's mouth water. Overall a great place to stop by and ask the locals about good stuff in the area to do.“

“Larry was one of the nicest people we met. Here we were out of gas in our vehicle, a friend lost in the woods and it was after he had closed down shop. Not only did larry say he would stay open for us to get fuel he offered to bring us some if we ran out trying to get to his store. “I recently visited Boyne Mountain Resort and went to Stein for dinner as it was includded as part of our guided snowshoeing tour.overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was attentive and the waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was inviting, with beautiful Mountain View’s and skie views.The food options was buffet but not vegetarian or vegan friendly. the prices were a bit high, particularly for ok drinks. “how have I not been here before? Such a fun warm up or lunch spot. we took Hemlock lift to get there, but it is SLOW! Still fun to see the view on the way down, however no skis allowed on it in 2023, we left ours at the bottom. Eagles nest is very casual, decent food, awesome view. Nice drink selection.“

“This place kills it! Their menu is consistently awesome. Their features are fun. Their wine selection is well thought out. A couple of foodie girlfriends and I stopped in on a Saturday night. The server was attentive. The chef checked in on us. Every one of our small plates nailed it. Highly recommend. 5 small plates (and two bottles of great wine) were perfect for 3 women that love great food and drink! I didn’t get hardly any pictures, I was too busy enjoying!“
