“Sorry to see that this place is for sale and no longer offering food. They used to have the best Detroit style square pizza we have found in the Petoskey-Harbor Springs area. We have no idea where their cook might have gone to, and we haven't found a substitute closer than Traverse City.“

“Coming from a Major Food Snob- Teddy Griffin’s is 5 Stars!!! Ive been looking for good food in Indian River, Cheboygan and surrounding areas all Summer. I finally had a meal I LOVED and Raved about. We started with Lamb Lollipops- Yum! The Chicken Picatta is packed with flavor and just so darn good. Pecan Crusted Whitefish was another excellent choice and we followed it with a slice of Carrot Cake. Compliments to the Chef! We will be back!!“

“Okay, first time here. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the wait staff seems very friendly and helpful. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was very tasty and the seafood Chowder was amazing. But the Walleye was tasteless. If it wasn't for the mashed potatoes and carrots you wouldn't know it was there. Daughter ordered Lobster Carbonara and it was almost tasteless and lobster was over cooked and a bit rubbery. Chef in my opinion needs to taste his creations before sending them out of the kitchen. Also please change the music, fine dining and 70s Disco/ Rock & Roll do not pair well.“
“Had such a great time with my family! My 90 year old Grandmother and I didn’t leave the electronic dart game the entire time we were there. There’s something for all ages. Highly recommend spending the day at Northern Lights Recreation!“

“We recently hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and had a wonderful experience. Jamie and her team were so great at communicating ahead of time, had everything prepared for us (seats and tables, special menu, etc.) and were able to kindly get us in and out of the restaurant in the time frame we requested. Their staff was so kind, easy to talk to, and the food of course was amazing. Thank you, The New York Restaurant for starting our wedding weekend in the greatest note!“
