“Greeted by a gentleman at the door. Seated at a nice table for two. Presented with a regular menu accompanied by a specialty seasonal menu. Had a hard time deciding on what to get because there many options that sounded good. Decided on the biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed. Gf got the bandito and loved it.Staff was so polite and helpful. They even offered great tips on things to do in the area as we are not from the areaCan not recommend enough“
“After a local recommendation to Turkey's, stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The Chicken Ceasar Salad was crispy, piled high, and flavorful chicken. Dressing is always "on the side." Although busy, the service was excellent. The yesteryear ambiance brought back memories. For sports fans - 2 TVs. I'll be back.2nd visit: 5 ? Had Sweet Potato Curry soup - thick, rich, slightly spicy, and full of flavor! So good ate before taking a photo.Turk's Turkey Day Sandwich - cranberry relish brought a brightness, filled with turkey, on thick cut grilled bread. Highly recommend ❣️“
“I was a server for 4 years at business class restaurant in Ann Arbor and really thought I was the best to do it.I was wrong, the server with the longer black hair put on a clinic Sunday night. I heard his menu presentation at several other tables along with ours and it was very comprehensive. Everything from drinks to apps to entrees and finally desert included his detailed suggestions. He’s got to have the best sales in this restaurant.Food was great, I had the ribeye w/ mash and baked macaroni. It was temped correctly, seasoned very well and the baked macaroni induced a feeling to what I imagine cause people to become addicted to illicit substances. Also, during the night - a food runner dropped a tray with two entrees. I am only bringing this up because they handled it very well. I once dropped a full tray of glass during a dinner shift and as a result we had to close down 2 booths and a table because the shrapnel had sprayed too comprehensively throughout the section.Great times, me and my family hope to be back.Edit: our server was Travis - thank you Travis!“
“Okay, first time here. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the wait staff seems very friendly and helpful. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was very tasty and the seafood Chowder was amazing. But the Walleye was tasteless. If it wasn't for the mashed potatoes and carrots you wouldn't know it was there. Daughter ordered Lobster Carbonara and it was almost tasteless and lobster was over cooked and a bit rubbery. Chef in my opinion needs to taste his creations before sending them out of the kitchen. Also please change the music, fine dining and 70s Disco/ Rock & Roll do not pair well.“
“So happy we found this place, it's not like any other winery you've been to. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, we felt like we could have sat there all day talking. The wine is so delicious! They also have a couple small plates and they have maple syrups you can try! We will definitely be back here and will recommend it to anyone.“
“The worst service ever! My 80 year old mom and I were told a 5 minute wait even though 4 tables were available. After 5 minutes, we were seated. A couple minutes later, a waitress finally comes by and says I'll be right back. We waited roughly another 10 minutes watching about 4 waitresses walk past us several times, all looking at us. We weren't even given water. Then another "rich" looking couple comes in and the same 3 tables are still empty that were when we came in. They took them right to the table next to us. A waitress immediately brought them their water and took their order. I said we've been waiting for a while. She just walked past. We got up and left. I will NEVER go there again. And trust me, I will spread the word. I have been there other times with other people when it was busy and wasn't treated like this.“
“These were some of the best tacos I have ever had!! The service was great and we didn't have to wait to long to get food. I got the crunch wrap with braised pork. The crispy cheese on the top was amazing! I will definitely try and stop in again.“
“We stopped by a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. Liz was the bartender and took excellent care of us. My wife isn't a fan of overly sweet drinks, so Liz was able to suggest which drinks would suit her, and even made a couple subtle changes to the mixes to make sure that they were suited to my wife's taste. We each got two drinks, and they were all fantastic. It was a busy day but it still felt very laid back and we were well taken care of. She even made our two kids (14 and 12) a couple of enjoyable mixes that were right up their alley (Cherry Coke and Shirley Temple). I'd highly recommend grabbing a drink and heading over a couple of blocks to the grassy area next to the old railroad tracks. It made for a great break on a beautiful afternoon.“
“I had a fantastic experience here. I came in while on a weekend wine tour on a moody autumn day. The wine here was exceptional and unique. They are a small winery working with unique grapes making fascinating wines. It is always a delight to see people with passion innovating and that’s what’s being done here. They had a whiskey barrel aged white that was just superb. Buttery and Smokey, a delectable blend of whiskey and white wine I didn’t know I needed in my life. I’m very happy I stopped in. The owners are also very willing to speak on the wine making process so make sure to give them a listen. 5/5.“
“My wife and I stopped in for some excellent wine flights and appetizers and had a great time! The family/staff are so accommodating and friendly, and stayed well after closing time to allow us to finish our wine and chat with us. Will be back whenever we’re in the area again!“
“Cozy atmosphere, obviously loved by locals with how busy it is weekends and weekdays alike. Prices are not listed on the signs overhead, and as a tea drinker, I was surprised to pay $5 for a medium tea. For a latte like a london fog, I'm used to that kind of price, but maybe I'll try another place in town for a bit better of a deal.“
“Great spot to stop, listen to music, play yard games, enjoy a drink and snack. They offer everything from liquor drinks to beer, cider and of course wine. Jordan was extremely helpful and informative during our visit. They are a must stop if you are in the area.“
“The Rudbeckia family were warm and inviting and take great care of their patrons and farm. Everything is very clean and well kept with an absolutely picturesque countryside setting to boast. The tasting room is so cozy that hours start to slip away as you sip on your ghost pepper beer (highly recommend), toast gourmet marshmallow smores and make new friends around the community fire pit.“
“Food and atmosphere was great but it was the service from Chris that made the night perfect. My wife and I stopped in for our first anniversary and he was just the nicest and most attentive server I have had. The bruschetta and pizza was amazing. Thank you Chris we will be back“
“THE best grilled sandwich anywhere - especially with the kale slaw!! Had the featured Steak & Ale Stew and it was absolutely delicious! Hope it becomes a new regular item. The staff is always warm & friendly (Victoria took great care of us!). Definitely a great place for families!“
