“Last night was my wife and my second visit to Johnnie's. We were very pleased with the food and the service. Our meals were well prepared with their own special twist on the preparation of the vegetables, their macaroni and cheese, and the meat as ordered. You should stop in the next time you are in the area, we will.“

“Everything was wonderful. The concierges and shuttle service were huge perks, the beach bar was really cool and their pizza was delicious, and everything was very clean. We plan on staying again next year. I highly recommend!“

“We sat on the patio and had a beautiful view of the lake. I had the Miami Vice and the Tamales. My wife had the surf and turf tacos and the raspberry margarita. The Miami Vice and the Surf and Turf were delicious. The marg and the Tamales were good but I probably wouldn’t order them again.“

“One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!“

“Had both the chili with corn bread and the burger with pork belly bacon, egg, cheese on a brioche. Everything great - good service and knowledgeable staff. Craft beers and live music was a bonus along with the outdoor patio. Highly recommend - great getaway from the chaos of the island.“

“Absolutely delightful, calamari and scallops were so good, the kids chicken tenders and hot dog was good too, it was very nice and if you are a child I recommend you get island bike ride for your drink, it made my family’s day so much better, and our servers were amazing.and it is really nice because the view is lovely of the straits of Mackinac. Would come here again , my brother that doesn’t eat at almost a whole hot dog and ate some chicken tenders. Also the scallops were very nicely presented in seashells and they used salt as sand to put the seashells in , it’s actually so nice and everybody loved it they have very good items on the menu. Our server Ned was wonderful - very kind and thoughtful.

“The Fort Mackinac Tea room has a fantastic view of the town and lake. I would say the view is the number one reason to eat here. Our server also was spectacular. I would say the food itself is very average. It was nice to enjoy the view while eating.“

“My favorite restaurant here. Always great service... Rick the waiter was slammed we had a party of 12. Edgar the manager came over took our drink orders. Helped out until Rick could get free. 5 Star service and food here. Highly recommend this establishment“

“Got our first most awesome pasty but had rv issues discovered in the parking lot after, not only did they let us use electricity and work on the issue after four plus hours and after hours but kindly brought cold fresh water for our new rescue pup before she left! Can’t find better folks than these. Such a blessing to us. Thank you.“
