“Last night was my wife and my second visit to Johnnie's. We were very pleased with the food and the service. Our meals were well prepared with their own special twist on the preparation of the vegetables, their macaroni and cheese, and the meat as ordered. You should stop in the next time you are in the area, we will.“

I loved the seats we had over looking Lake Huron. Should have sat outside. St. Ignace is a favorite town of mine. It really needed a good restaurant. So many have closed. We will return very soon.“

“One of the oldest buildings in Michigan dating back to the 1780’s. Food and apps are killer! Service is great food comes out quick and hot. The ambience of the building is really cool. Military and law-enforcement discount. Super veteran and law-enforcement friendly. This is a great American establishment in one of the oldest Michigan buildings! I truly look forward to coming here every single year we’re on vacation! This is a staple on our trip!“

“Had both the chili with corn bread and the burger with pork belly bacon, egg, cheese on a brioche. Everything great - good service and knowledgeable staff. Craft beers and live music was a bonus along with the outdoor patio. Highly recommend - great getaway from the chaos of the island.“

“Great spot, I believe they only have outdoor seating. Tyler or Taylor (I cannot remember which) was especially helpful 7/3/26 at helping us find the perfect table for our party. The food was excellent (loved the calamari) and came out promptly. Other members of my party enjoyed their mixed drinks. And our waiter even sang some Lion King to the kiddos at our table! This place was a great end to a great trip. 👍“

“This restaurant offers a beautiful view of Mackinac and the lake. We only had snacks, but the pretzels and mustard, cobbler, and cheesecake were all very good. And the mimosas are huge. The service is just ok. It took a while to even get water's and then a while to get our drinks. And I asked for bluberry topping and got cherry.“

“My favorite restaurant here. Always great service... Rick the waiter was slammed we had a party of 12. Edgar the manager came over took our drink orders. Helped out until Rick could get free. 5 Star service and food here. Highly recommend this establishment“

“Got our first most awesome pasty but had rv issues discovered in the parking lot after, not only did they let us use electricity and work on the issue after four plus hours and after hours but kindly brought cold fresh water for our new rescue pup before she left! Can’t find better folks than these. Such a blessing to us. Thank you.“
