Nonna Lisa's was the location for one meal we we had in Mackinac City, and it was amazing. It was late evening and we needed dinner. Being late in the season, many places had closed up already. Find Nonna Lisa's open proved to be a treasure. It's rustic decor is suitable for all types of dining experiences, being informal to formal. The food arrived in a timely manner, yet not rushed. For an Italian ristorante, this was a unique place. The taxidermy they used definitely cashed in well. You'll see bears, Zebra, wolves, and a giraffe among the deer and a plethora of other animals that are displayed throughout the restaurant, and I'm not kidding, throughout!!!! They only have singleton restrooms which was surprising for a huge place. Service was very good. The food was excellent but overpriced. Probably the norm in a tourist and apparently a hunting town.
