Not cool, at ALL. we walked in as a four top, the restaurant had maybe a handful of tables, not busy at all. it was around noon. The girl with dark curls walked towards us. maybe the host, and said to the bartender "you want to take them?" with a her face in a I-dont-want-them-either look. bartender says no. we ask for a window seat and she refused to seat us where wanted. instead tried to seat us on top of another table with an empty section. it's giving pretty woman. 3 woman...read full review
Only thing this place had going for it was the atmosphere. Service was slow, never refilled our drinks. We were there for an hour and 40 mins, most of the time just sitting at the table waiting for the server. We watched several tables sit after us, receive their food and leave before we even received our food. We were missing parts of our meal.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but our experience at The Hook in Mackinac City was so appalling it deserves a warning label.
This was supposed to be the celebratory dinner to close out a bachelorette weekend — instead, it turned into a 2.5-hour disaster. It took an hour just to place our order after being seated, and things only went downhill from there.
