Donavon is an amazing server polite friendly fast. The food is amazing. I dont eat fish but tried the wife's fish from her fish and chips very good. This is a must when in Mackinaw.
We were passing thru on our way back to NY and stopped for lunch. The seafood puttanesca was excellent!!! Great atmosphere and our server, Emily was the sweetest!!!. Wish we lived closer so we could go back.
We just stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. The strawberry mojitos were light and refreshing without being too sweet and the mussels fra diavolo were amazing! The sauce was SO good. My only complaint is that it's a literal crime not to offer bread on the side with a sauce that good lol Thankfully they brought bread out when asked but with a sauce that good, obviously I'm going to want something to soak up the rest of it once the mussels are gone 😂
