Had dinner here last night after it was recommended by the Best Western hotel, The prices were surprisingly better than at Dixie Bar and even the Italian restaurant across the street. The whitefish was the best we've ever had! Friendly, welcoming and the lighting is on point!
Our family had dinner at the Hook last night. Our first impression was that the dining room is on the second floor which offers an excellent view of the marina, the lake, and the island! There is an elevator on the main floor for those with special needs. The atmosphere is worth the stop!
I dined here last September while on a trip to the UP, 6:30pm on a Friday. I didn’t need to reserve and only waited a short time to be seated at the bar as I was alone. Bar seating is a little tight-spaced.
The whitefish rangoons were delicious! The ladies seated next to me were also from out of town and were making great conversation with everyone in the bar area. I want to say we all spent an hour talking...
