“The pines is the best !!!!! Daily food specials that rival grandma's home cooked meals and real breakfast sandwiches. Skip the line at McDonald's and start your morning off right or grab somthing for lunch or dinner ! Along with a stocked meat counter with some excellent cuts of meat . I'm hear to say the pines are hard to beat !“
“We had a lovely and relaxing time at Breakers Resort. The calmness of this location was much need. On Sunday evening there was live music and the mornings began with a hot breakfast. We were confused with the lack of consistency with what they stated they offered and when they actually did provide it. For example, they did not open for dinner service on one of the nights that were stated as open for dinner. They didn't offer the bonfire each night they stayed they would even though the weather was pleasant. Other that these discrepancies we enjoyed our time.“
“This place is great. We stopped here three times during our one night stay in Mackinaw City. The food was above what was expected especially for the price. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. This is my new dining stop when we travel nearby.Vegetarian options: Salad bar has a large variety of vegetables more than you would expect from a pizza place.“
“This is good pizza. I've had different Detroit-style pizzas from some of the biggest and most well-known pizzerias in Detroit and this is certainly right up there with them in terms of taste. It's great to have access to quality Detroit-style pizza so far up north -- I will certainly come here again the next time I am on the island“
“Just want to give a shout out to Fox's Pizza Den in Petoskey. Their staff is top notch. I have a 3 year old who can be quiet "social" and the one guy I believe his name was Justin took the time to sit down at our table and talk to him and make him laugh throughout our whole visit. The rest of the staff was just as awesome. We also got pizza and some other items and they were all super good!!! But the time he took with my son was simply awesome. Having a toddler in a restaurant can be hard. Made our night. !!!“
“So we decided to go to the Island today 4/2/24 very cold, also definitely off season. We walked around the island trying to site see. We wondered into a pizza shop on the main st. We walked in just before 1:30 pm getting out of the cold and grabbing some lunch for our group of 6. The lady(I didn't catch her name) was so welcoming, even though they were closing at 1:30. She didn't make us feel like we were inconvenient at all. She allowed us to order a pizza and cheesy bread and let us sit and eat. She was so nice and inviting! We appreciate you more than you know! Thank you for delicious lunch and very good chili! We will be back, during business hours next him I promise!“
“Pizza lunch buffet is great, especially for the price! They even asked us which pizzas we like as we paid at the beginning and brought those out onto the buffet line. They were friendly and helpful. Line was kept clean & refreshed. Definitely will come again and recommend to others!Kid-friendliness: Prices are great. Surprising amount of options for a smaller buffet. Plenty for kids to pick him.“
