City Park Grill offers a wide variety of excellent food, including a diverse kids' menu with options like steak and buttered noodles. The sweet potato fries are a must-try. The staff is always helpful, and the food is made with pride. Customers enjoy the fantastic service, with friendly and social staff, and the delicious meals, including the Flank appetizer, Zucchini spears, and the Potato Crusted Whitefish. The restaurant also serves a flavorful filet Mignon, grilled asparagus, and sweet potatoes with a glaze, as well as meatloaf with mashed potatoes. The fish is always fresh, and the Michigan salad is highly praised. The bar has a rich history, being a favorite spot of Hemingway’s. The restaurant is great for private events, though the back room can be loud. Parking is available in the adjacent lot or on the street. Located in downtown Petoskey, it’s a favorite spot to shop and enjoy a wonderful lunch or dinner. Customers appreciate the lively atmosphere and often visit to see live music, such as the Huckleberry Grove band.
