Symons is a great little store downtown, and one of the few places to grab a pop or water or quick snack while perusing the downtown area. What makes Symons special to us is the sandwich shop in the back of the store. Their sandwiches are always delicious, they have great croissants (come early, they go fast) and during the summer months they have pre-made deli style food too! Definitely recommend!
Cool atmosphere. High end products. Nice staff. This is the place you want to stop on your way into town. Crab cakes were good. I bought about 10 different jars of stuff. Lunch meat is reasonably priced.

Their deli is fantastic. Can't wait to go back and eat at the little Bistro below this market. The Turkey sandwich (1st choice on menu) and the Ham and Swiss sandwiches were both so good. We got both to go as we were traveling out of Petoskey and headed back south toward home.
