Stopped in Gaylord on our way home from a camping trip. Sitting at the southbound exit ramp stoplight, I saw their sign and suggested to wife that we try it out....and it did not disappoint. Great menu, and of course we wanted everything but settled on the Quesadilla for the wife and I had a Chimichanga. Both were excellent! We will be back.

No toilet paper in the bathroom. The two waitresses were rude and never smiled. It was a pain for them to wait on us. Chips and tostadas shell were stale! Not worth the $$

I ate here with my family after our 4th of July weekend and it was the best meal we had during our time up north. I had the Burrito Jalisco, my wife had their Mix Enchiladas, and my 4yo had chicken tenders. The hostess was very friendly. The food came out quick and most importantly, everything we had was delicious. We plan to stop be every time we get in the area. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant.

We’re from San Antonio and finding any kind of decent or edible Mexican food in Northern Michigan is a study in frustration. We came to Mi Vallarta to celebrate our 12th anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere checked all the boxes which gave us hope. Our server, Cynthia, was the sweetest and very attentive. My litmus test for a good Mexican restaurant is the quesabirra tacos and these did not disappoint. The only reason for 4 stars on the food is because we’re from San Antonio and we have a high spice tolerance which we wouldn’t expect in Northern Michigan. We will definitely be frequent visitors while we’re in the area for the summer. Definitely recommend!

Nice place! Great service!
You have to pay for chips and salsa; the chips were warm and the salsa was plentiful.
As a gluten free option I tried the Fajita baked potato, it was a large serving and very tasty. We will go back!

Tortilla soup here is fantastic! The menu has a lot of variety and it is nice that many of the items are available alacarte, so you can try a few different items. Speedy service.
