Very confusing from ,the entrance, ordering, menus at the table but no table service, 2 employees to do everything, do we seat ourselves, wait, order here, the bar or at the table, do we pick the food up, bus the table, idk.... meat super dry, there's kinks that need to be worked out. I will try again!
I give 3 stars because the bartender/server was delightful. Absolutely the worst barbecue I've ever had...everything was dry and almost inedible. The whitefish dip was decent

I got the baby back rib platter. The ribs and bbq were very close to perfect. Instead of pickles and onions they had cucumber and onions in vinegar which is one of my favorite snacks. The beans were good. The coleslaw was good but I wish it were a little more acidic. The jalapeño cornbread was very nice. Over all I’d say a 4.2. I travel for work and eat out a lot. I’m easily underwhelmed but not this time. ❤️

Got the Reuben. Was very good. Really enjoyed the food. The waitress was bartending, taking orders and delivering the food alone! Kudos to her!! I'd go back given the chance.

Better eat somewhere else. Burnt & dried out ribs. Not even going to look for a reply judging by the owner's other replies, he has no customer service....wow! Got a quick reply from the owner! Only took 6 months for that witty comeback!

My wife and I ate at the Iron pig for the first time. First off the way of ordering food is a bit strange. Then when you have to pay for it before you even get it is a little different. I ordered a Ruben sandwich. Which supposed to be smoked corned beef. It sure was. It tasted liked the corned beef was warmed up and bottle up liquid smoke was poured over it. I am a Ruben conissour. I eat a Ruben no matter where i go to eat. And I do have say that probably the worst I've ever had. Eating the cows hoof would have been tastier. My wife had a rice dish. Which was nothing but rice with heat no flavor. Neither one of us finished our meal. Hadn't we already paid for it we would probably walked out without paying for it. Something we've never done before. We will never eat there again. And never recommend the place to any one.

Dont appreciate having to tip first just for the waitress to deliver our food and never come back. Beans tasted like they came out of a can Chicken was dried out. Over priced for what we received.

I have to say that the prices here have gone off the chart high. I do love the ribs, but the Mac and Cheese was just Mac, no cheese, and for 12.00 this is not okay. I spent 25.00 for a half rack of ribs with a micro portion of baked beans and a single muffin. I can't justify the cost for the product. I hope they come back more in to line price wise soon.

Ambiance is bar with a larger seating area next door. (Seems to be a trend in Gaylord- see Crave across the street.) Order and pay at the register and the food is brought out to you. Seat yourself service. It is odd that a tip is asked for at payment for this service. I find this an odd style how do you have it both ways- no table side service but ask for a tip at time of placing order. When no service has been delivered. Our assigned not wait staff greet us and tell us the information on how food would come. Our server/ food delivery was as soon as the food was up. Our party of three had the loaded Mac, potstickers, iron pig burger, and brisket tacos. Food was great! Everyone enjoyed the homemade chips served with the iron pig burger and tacos! The brisket tacos were very bland looking but my son said they tasted great, iron pig burger was SO GOOD and all the potstickers were quickly consumed! Loved that concept of a BBQ sticker. Solid BBQ option. The service situation is fine but for the food prices and tip at time of payment put me off. Hope management considers how to navigate this conundrum. 4-5 star foods 3 stars for food delivery Expensive bar- bq
