Our first time coming here, a friend had highly recommended it and he was right, very good food. We had the burritos which were excellent. The server was very nice and helpful and fast. The atmosphere was very nostalgic and rustic. A nice little salad bar and good menu. Nestled in a quiet little area not far from highway 2. Would recommend.
Their menu says they have One of the best pasties in the U.P. That was THEE BEST pasty I've ever had with plenty of delicious gravy to boot. Our server was excellent and the place was spotless for an old U.P. bar.

4 of us ate lunch on a weekday. Large portions. We all had pastie. Weve had it previously and it was delicious. Today, I immediately wondered if it was made earlier, even yesterday, and heated up. Crust soggy, veggies soggy, and overall flavor tasted 'old and salty' waitress was very friendly.
