Classic Midwest Diner done to perfection. I stopped here for the same reason I select most diners in the Midwest - they had the most cars in the parking lot. The locals know quality and this place does not disappoint. I had the egg sandwich AND added pancakes because they are so tasty. I know contemplating the best pancake is difficult but these folks nail it. The service is authentic Midwest nice and the atmosphere welcoming and local - with honor to the owners in the past posted in the dining room. Tasty.

We expected your classic, basic diner, but this passed our expectations. The food all was quite good. We had a breakfast skillet and build your own omelette. Lots of little touches that made things very good rather than fine. Local roasted coffee, house made jams, biscotti, and bread. House pickled peppers that really made things pop. Great place!

Absolutely loved our food and experience here!! Came in for breakfast with two small kids and they were totally spoiled by the staff. It made their day, and mine! They were so accommodating!! Our breakfasts were all phenomenal!! Everything was homemade and tasted SO delicious! The skillet was incredible and the cinnamon roll French toast was the best id ever had. Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and pancakes were also delicious! The presentation of the food was also fantastic and dishes were plated beautifully. You can tell they are putting a lot of time, effort, and love into this restaurant. We live about 5-6 hrs away and really wish we could come back more often! We need more restaurants like this. Definitely recommend!! :)

Everything was homemade. The food was excellent with homemade jelly and sauces. The chef and waitress were super friendly and interactive. Don’t miss this place. Prices were cheap for the food that we had. Going back for lunch!
Parking: Great parking options for RV’s!

Had the steak and eggs with toast. Hollandaise sauce was very good, all the food is homeade including hollandaise and blueberry jam. Good portions.

Had the Pasty with beef gravy for lunch on 8.25.24. Beef gravy was a gel and very salty. The Pasty, you get 2, together about 1/2 the size of a normal pasty. Rating this lunch from 1 to 10, I have to give it -10. Hands down, THE worst pasty I've eaten in my 70 years. The inside looked like mush and the specks of orange I think were carrots.

Scrambled eggs and bacon were good. Hashbrowns were mushy. As if they grated boiled potatoes instead of raw ones. Ordered white toast. It had caraway seeds! Did not expect that since it wasn't a rye. Doubt I will go back.
