“Found Ashley at a craft show. She was super responsive via call, text, and email (called to confirm availability, email expectations/order, and text to confirm pick up). Was cool to see there were many flavors to choose from. Really creative and ran with what we needed. Got edible glitter and personalized cookies. Was really a great find and would use them in the future.”

“Friday night fish fry, it was ACES!! ?Great food excellent on every level. Friendly service, clean and nice atmosphere, great taste, excellent price value. Got the perch, largest size perch I have ever seen. Salad bar included in the dinner. Only 16.99 for five large pieces of perch, potato, baked beans, dinner roll and salad bar. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!!”

“My teenage son loves pizza and I thought it would be fun to take him to Mainstreet for a slice and a soda. They have a great deal where you can get 2 slices and a soda for $6. So we each got that. They have a few tables inside so we just ate there. It was nice to spend a little one on one time with him.”

“Absolutely wonderful subway. I prefer this location over the ones in Escanaba any day. The bread and cookies are always top notch. My son has food allergies and the girl with short colored hair working the counter was mindful enough to ask if the 2 cookies I ordered could go in the same bag. It’s the little things that matter.My only critique is the tables tend to be dirty despite slow traffic and abundant employees.Dietary restrictions: Allergen menu offered directly on the food preparation station.”

“Rapid River Pizza did not disappoint ?. I have been waiting over a year to try their pizza and was very satisfied with a great crispy yet tender crust and loads of gooey melted cheese and planty of toppings. Drinks were good, and the waitress was very high-spirited, going out of her way to give a description of food items and service. We'll be back.”

“We’ve been coming here every summer for the last 20 years or so. Love it every single time and a summer camping trip isn’t complete without Dairy Flo every night. Haven’t noticed any changes even with different owners, but I did especially appreciate the extra white fencing along Route 2 and the sidewalk, since cars tend not to slow down to the speed limit of 35 and it can get nerve wracking, especially waiting in line with a toddler. I also love the extra seating on the other side of the building. Great service and great ice cream! PS Always carry the Michigan Fried Cherry Pie flavor! So good!”

I like the goldfish and the cowboy TV - it's a portal to another, cooperative, family-style hang, according to the longstanding drinking heritage and tradition of the area.”

“I've always liked shopping at Meijer. They have a great meat department and generally I can find things here easily. The staff is usually very helpful and even the cart guys are polite. I have as of recently had some disappointing experiences in the produce department however. Bagged lettuce spoiled the day after purchase still in date, rotting center cantaloupe, berries are not fresh, (maybe just not put them out at all),lots of other wilted or not fresh items but the returns are quick and the management is quick to right any problems and check out is quick and easy. I would have given another star except the produce is disappointing. I recommend this grocer. Especially for hard to find items.”
