The view from the dining room is beautiful, overlooking the water. Casey, our server was prompt and friendly, no issues there at all. She came by often to check on us and I should have used that opportunity in the moment but I dread that kind of public confrontation. We both had prime rib and a baked potato along with french onion soup. For the price, a potato not be dried out and should be warm enough to at least melt the butter, not reheated a bit and hard, and the prime rib required every bit of the steak knife to cut it with no flavor. The French onion soup was fair, hot but not a lot of flavor either. The best part of the meal was the Bay Button mushrooms for the appetizer. We went there because there was no wait but next time will wait the hour to pay the same price for a better meal.

Parking: Room for trailers, boats.

We have been here whenever the Logging Expo is in Escanaba or we are visiting Marquette. It is CONSISTENTLY AWESOME….great menu, great service, more than generous portions,GORGEOUS VIEWS! One huge recommendation…. Have someone dress up in a black and red plaid flannel shirt and hand out free drink or appreciate tix at the Logging Expo….you will be doing yourself a great service to get the word out about this fantastic place!

What a treasure we found when we decided to have dinner at this unique and beautiful venue! Casey was a very attentive and friendly server. The food was absolutely delicious. The view of the lake from our table was a plus. They even have an outside deck next to a spring fed small pond. I had 1/2 order of the chicken mornay. The best thing I have had the pleasure of eating in quite awhile. My bf had the chicken sandwich. The inside has something unique with every place you look including some antiques. We will make the trip back just to enjoy this place again.

Went to eat there in a group at 4:30 on a Tuesday Evening and the doors were locked ?. Nobody there with no explanation of why they were closed. Called for 2 weeks and nobody would answer the phone. Awful.

Staff and owners are top notch in hospitality! Have been on the road for two weeks across the U.S., hands down the best stop we made. Owners Tina and Todd go above and beyond for their staff and patrons.

When entering the Log Cabin, go to the bar and the very nice and cheerful bar tender will lead you to the table. Front window overlooking Little Bay de Noc.I had the naked pasta with sautéed vegetables. I requested a side dish of the mornay sauce. Delicious on its own, but over the top with mornay drizzled on top. We had side salads, fresh! My hubby had dry rubbed wings and the rest of my pasta. Our server, Elise, was cheerful, prompt and not too attentive.

Vegetarian options: The naked pasta with sautéed vegetable was yummy.

The service was excellent, food was just ok, especially for the price. I understand an occasional fish bone but the walleye had countless bones. The reuben was tasty as well the house made chips. The battered pork chop entree was really good.

Absolutely loved visiting here. Stopped for a quick beer on our vacation trip through town. Ended up stopping on our way back the next day, too. Excellent whitefish Friday night fish fry. Staff was friendly and fun.

Charged for food we couldn't eat. Accidentally spilled water over the sandwich and when we asked if we could get a replacement or the sandwich taken off. Accidents happen and we thought that they'd be kind and make a replacement. Nope. Charged for it. Because it was "perfect" and it wasn't their fault.Over priced. Don't go.
