Food did not taste good. Tons of breading and a thick white tapioca substance covering a very thin slice of chicken. Egg drop soup is simple to make but they put scrambled eggs in their egg drop instead. Service was okay, but food was really disappointing, even for a small town chinese restaurant.

My sister inlaw and I had stopped in for the first time while in town. The raining were amazing!
If anyone knows us. When we are together, we go for the local Chinese cuisine !
The soup arrived, it was amazing. Some of the best I've had. This is why the 3 star, and the service also! That is the only reason.
When the entrée arrived it also looked amazing.
Well. Let me tell you. If I had wanted peanut butter chicken I would have ordered it. Just because you put sesame seeds on chicken, that doesn't make it Sesame Chicken. The menu should have stated in the description that the sauce had a peanut butter base.
We tried it and it wasn't what we expected. At all... The waitress came and asked how our meal was. We told her, We couldn't eat it. We asked her to take it back. We ate the soup and the rice, She came back when we were done, with the bill. Charging for the full amount. We asked for a bill adjustment. She had to ask her manager. They did. But with a snotty remark. I tipped the waitress well. Paid the bill. But we won't be going back for anything but the soup. I may try another entrée just to give it one more shot but. 1st experience wasn't a good one....

The chicken fried rice was a little greasy and did not have much flavor and was kinda skimpy on the chicken

We were passing through town and grabbed 1 boneless almond chicken dinner with fried rice to go for lunch. Also an order of crab rangoon. It was so disappointing. The breading was so soggy. We were expecting almond gravy, as in yellow or brown gravy like any other Chinese restaurant we've ever been to. Instead it was a clear sauce that had what seemed to be cilantro in it?! After tasting thought it was so unappealing. We were bummed after seeing the lunch buffet when picking it up we thought we'd have to come back for sure. Then we had our lunch and said no we won't.

Get better from a frozen bag of pf changs, low quality to the extreme

What an embrassment. Raw breading around the tiny sweet and sour pork bites, which also included raw vegetables. Obviously they don't saute the vegetables with the food. Not sure what it was, I asked for egg drop, had some disgusting white fleshy looking stuff floating, didn't taste like any egg drop I've ever had. Also a broth verse a thick gelatin. Pad Thai, dry, bland and not appealing, worst had big oh onions and carrots, no beans sprouts. Green onion or peanuts..time to think about better cooks and providing quality food, never mind a remodel. I feel bad for this town to have to accept this as a choice

Delicious food, friendly service. Dining in closed for remodeling, so can't comment about atmosphere. We tried Mongolian beef for the first time, and thought it was delicious. Also enjoyed our old favorites of chicken with vegetables and sweet and sour chicken.

I can't share details because everytime I want take out Chinese their closed. I have never seen a restaurant closed so much and on the weekends also. I mean weekends? It's like they only stay open because they are needing extra money that month. We need a Chinese restaurant that will be reliable and open on the weekends.

Chee Peng is my favorite Chinese place ever. I live in Midland and I still drive there several times a year because I prefer their food over all of the places here.
I get the Sweet and Sour chicken. Yummy yum.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had! Lo mein was almost black with all the sauce. Fried rice was anything but. I received a scoop of it that tasted like mold and soy sauce! Will not recommend and will not go back!

Are you serious? Had to bang on the window to get in. We had different items from the menu, same result. Sick for days. This was the absolute worst impression of a Chinese restaurant I've ever had the displeasure to mention. Go across the street..save yourself the punishment. What a complete disaster of an establishment.

Arrived for dinner with my husband about 4pm and the front door was locked right after I saw 2 couples walk in? Had to call restrant to open the door back up! Ordered egg drop soup, egg rolls & almond boneless chicken. Soup was cold had scrambled eggs on top & cabbage, not very good. Waitress forgot my egg roll, brought it after I received my food & I had to ask for it..I should of just forgot about it! My food was sooo salty I couldn't even eat it. When I told the waitress she said we can try to fix it..I said don't bother! My husband's Kung Pao Chicken was just as bad! Paid for our meal but will never go back!! We were sick for 2 days!!!
