“The food and service is excellent! HOWEVER the fact that they allow reservations is ridiculous. These girls loose SO MUCH MONEY!! We came in at 6:30 and all the tables had a 7:30 reservations. We scarfed our food down and watched at least 20 ppl leave because they couldn’t sit at the empty tables that had a reservation sign.”

“We were in the area and hungry. The red building on the corner caught our eye so we stopped in. We were not disappointed. Comfort food in generous portions and tasty too. The vegetable soup that came with my meal was savory and chock full of a variety of veggies. The ground sirloin smothered in mushrooms and onions was tender and cooked perfectly, a mound of mashed potato with a pool of gravy was the perfect texture — not pasty like many eateries. A big surprise was the fresh corn on the cob. I left with a go-box for later. We will be returning!”

Chef Scotte does a incredible job creating excellent food. Super friendly and made us a wonderful dessert to celebrate our new house on the lake! The restaurant is very clean, a beautiful fireplace adds to the ambiance. You absolutely feel like you are at home surrounded by friends! Thank you for taking great care of us! “I love the subway in Gladwin, amazing subs always. I usually go during lunch hrs and always have a warm welcome from very nice ladies, but this past week I went during supper time and it wasn't a warm welcome it felt like we were bothering the ladies by being there and their conversation consisted of complaining about a man for an online order. So I will go during the day from now on. It even made my 10 and 11-year-olds uncomfortable.”

“My husband and I have visited Roosters 3-4 times and keep coming back. Ordered a wet burrito and got a funny look.. Neither of us could it the whole thing. The look we got was like "are you sure"? The burgers are amazing, and the pizza has a taste like no other.. it has a blend of different cheeses. Just hard to explain.. Like eating Lasagna pizza. So, good! Portions are large, people are very nice and very clean each time I have been there. You should really give it a try.”

“Love this type of old school bar with great friendly service. We had the fried green beans with two dipping sauces but the boom-boom sauce was on point. The burgers were cooked perfect and french fries, waffle fries as well. Definitely worth a visit!”
