“Went here on our way down from up north. Also a great place to stop in the way up north. It's about 2 mi off of i-75 in Sterling. This place is known for their chicken. I would say it's better than the other place in Michigan. Is chicken the potatoes and stuffing definitely were better. They were real. We also tried a chicken bowl and the chicken dinner. We ate off each other's plate. We both highly recommend food here. Does close in the off season. The staff was excellent and it was very speedy.Vegetarian options: Not really a vegetarian place”
“Place is fire, Brandy, Madison or the dude that works behind the bar will take care of you. Part owner Amanda is amazing and makes the place worth going. Bob is bad for business.”
“They could use more help, but the food is always great! The atmosphere is "local bar" and loud, just where you might expect the best food to be in a tiny town.?”
“They have a great outdoor seating area that is dog friendly! Extremely nice owner that welcomed our puppy and was accomidating to us being the only ones eating outside. Tasty burger and fries!”
“Great ice cream selections. I opted for the homemade onion rings. Oh my gosh! These were the best we've had! Full order is big enough for 4 people. Hot and delicious!”
“Roadside stand with a great quick fix menu. Had 3 street tacos (chicken, pulled pork & beef). All 3 were perfect! Employee was very polite as well. Good prices and had a clean area to sit and eat under a canopy.”
“Drove two hours one way for beef jerky and really had to take a break, use a restroom, and get a drink. Smaller, quiet place which is perfect for me. Incredibly friendly and aware staff. Stayed for a second beer and a quick chat. It's a nice little place with nice people.”
“Lil Yummies is the only place I go from now on. We have property in Omer and usually go up every weekend and we're frequent flyers of the place now. That place is the bomb. It's clean and the baked goods melt in your mouth.”
“Camping at Saganing casino, rode our bikes over to White's Beach Tavern. Tuesday, 2$ tacos and 6$ nachos. Two tall drafts and food under 20$ food was great server even better! Thanks will definitely stop by again.”
“Everything, and I mean everything was amazing. Stopped to have dinner while traveling for my nieces 13 birthday. Very accommodating to our hangry little ones. Great service. Great food. All the way around a wonderful establishment. Thank you for a wonderful experience from my family of "down-staters" :-)”
“Best pizza in Standish, MI. All sorts of food items here, I usually get bacon with pepperoni and pineapple with ham. Never disappoints. Their bread stick and marinara sauce is superb. Over all price on the higher side. Still worth it!Parking: Parking isn't bad here, just be careful pulling out of the parking lot, m-23/huron rd is the worst for traffic incidents. The corner next to riches gas station isn't the best spot either.”
“Just reopened under new ownership... seems like it has potential. Standard Bar/Restaurant food nothing elaborate as of now. They didn't have a liquor license at the time I visited but I believe they'll be serving again soon*will update*”
“Had the most helpful subway employee ever today. I was trying to walk my foreign girlfriend through the process of ordering at subway and they were extremely helpful.”
“I really liked the food here, had a great variety on the buffet, also very accommodating for my brother who is disabled and on crutches. We will be stopping again.”
“We had a little hiccup with our order. We didn't realize it until we got all the way back home. I called and spoke with Cody. What a great person, attitude, and respectful. Most people only review to leave bad ones, so I thought a good review shouldn't go unnoticed, just to say what a polite well mannered person Cody was.”
“The window person was super positive and I git energized by that love or hate your job ...doesn't matter as long as you put ur best foot forward. And enjoy each day as if it were your last. Thanks for the experience. Jeanette ”
“This little Caesars is so much better than west branch it's not even compatible. STANDISH pizza has cheese sauce and delicious crust. West branch cardboard pizza sucks and can close up forever.”
“This is one of the nicer Taco Bell’s I’ve been to. Bathrooms were both clean, staff was kind, food was good and not thrown together. It was 5pm on a Friday and we got in and out quick.”
“They weren't even making my sandwich correctly, good thing I got there early enough to catch it! The girls were upset that I wanted it toasted, even though they how the order itself said to prepare it!!”
“Parking: Parking is very limited but my biggest complaint is that two of us drove 45 minutes to pick up lunch. When we got there at 2:30pm and asked for calzones they said they were out.(only 1on display )Which we were willing to wait for more to be made but they refused. The woman behind the counter was rude and very lazy.”
“Food was hot and fresh. Would like to see more options on the buffet. The fresh salad is nice, would be better with more salad toppings offered. Staff was friendly. Fair price for buffet.”
“I love their pizza. Standish has 3 pizza restaurants and I have tryed them all. I think from my own experience Little Sicily is the Best. There pizza is old style and they will always have my business!”
“It brought back many memories. I was expecting a tray for my window but it came in a paper sack. My rootbeer was in a paper cup. I'll try again when the weather is warmer. The food was excellent.”
“I stopped here for breakfast after a all night shift at work thought a burrito would do nice for breakfast when I pulled up to the speaker the answered with such enthusiasm and when they gave me my food they were so cheerful and the food was fresh and hot. This made my morning due to having a stressful all nighter and to get out being greeted with so much enthusiasm it makes your morning. Thank u to morning shift for all u do.”
“Such a sweet lil restaurant! The food was delicious very homemade flavors, the server was kind, she happily greeted every local. If you're in the area stop by for breakfast the French toast was to die for ?”
