“Best French toast around! It was made fresh with locally baked bread and the syrup was real maple syrup not that HFC stuff and the coffee was served in a to-go cup so you can take it with you. They also serve Detroit Cola. It's like Coke but better. They also serve french fries made from fresh potatoes and salt. No batter! just good old-fashioned french fries.”

“We stopped here for a business lunch after seeing the reviews and they did not steer us wrong. I enjoyed a cup of navy bean soup, a side salad and smoked pork chops with Texas toast. My wonderful dessert was brownie bottom cheesecake.Low top, booth and bar seating. Numerous choices of soups and daily specials. Homemade pies, cheesecakes and cakes for dessert along with Ashby’s Sterling ice cream. Competitive prices with excellent service. They have been around since 1925. I wish I had been here sooner but I am definitely coming back.”

“We've wanted to try this place for a while. Finally decided to stop in and it was great. I like the small town bar feel. I don't drink but i can see it being a good to place for drinkers. My wife and I both had burgers with waffle fries. Our server was great and very friendly. All the servers were friendly. The food was great. We will definitely stop back in.”

“First time customers took my twi daughters to meet their grandparents for Christmas gifts and dine in.This place definitely needs different seating. It looked as if their was remodeling going on.After an hour and 15 min wait we finally received our med pizza and 3 antipasto salads.The pizza looked delicious the grandparents ate.Me and my twins had the salads and they were excellent.Loaded with all kinds of toppings.Talked with the manager we were leaving and he was a very nice guy.He was giving a picture of the grandparents as Mr and Mrs Claus.Thank you for the great food.”

“First time in the area from PA visiting family and wanted to pick up food on the way to Bay County Park. They recommended Pizza Dude and it was a great choice. Limited staff with only one guy working but he did a great job and had our order ready within a half hour.(couple pizzas and grinders) I didn't catch his name but attentive and hard working. “Service was fantastic! The food was cooked wonderfully and in great portions for the price. He had a wet burrito with chicken. Ground chicken was used which he wasn't a fan of, but said it was still remarkable. We also ordered deep fried green beans. They were cooked very well however, it would have been great to have a bit more flavor added to the breading (seasonings). I had the fried pollock with French fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked well done per my request and was delicious. The fries were crispy and the tar tar sauce was on point (if you like the tangy zip of miracle whip!). I was not a fan of the coleslaw. It tasted like the store bought jug one buys in large quantities. Overall, the food was absolutely worth it, the service was five star, and their drink selection is phenomenal as well, though we did not partake.”

“Roadside stand with a great quick fix menu. Had 3 street tacos (chicken, pulled pork & beef). All 3 were perfect! Employee was very polite as well. Good prices and had a clean area to sit and eat under a canopy.”

“Best pizza in Standish, MI. All sorts of food items here, I usually get bacon with pepperoni and pineapple with ham. Never disappoints. Their bread stick and marinara sauce is superb. Over all price on the higher side. Still worth it!Parking: Parking isn't bad here, just be careful pulling out of the parking lot, m-23/huron rd is the worst for traffic incidents. The corner next to riches gas station isn't the best spot either.”

“This little Caesars is so much better than west branch it's not even compatible. STANDISH pizza has cheese sauce and delicious crust. West branch cardboard pizza sucks and can close up forever.”
