“Service was fantastic! The food was cooked wonderfully and in great portions for the price. He had a wet burrito with chicken. Ground chicken was used which he wasn't a fan of, but said it was still remarkable. We also ordered deep fried green beans. They were cooked very well however, it would have been great to have a bit more flavor added to the breading (seasonings). I had the fried pollock with French fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked well done per my request and was delicious. The fries were crispy and the tar tar sauce was on point (if you like the tangy zip of miracle whip!). I was not a fan of the coleslaw. It tasted like the store bought jug one buys in large quantities. Overall, the food was absolutely worth it, the service was five star, and their drink selection is phenomenal as well, though we did not partake.”

“I hadn't been In the Crump Pump in 50 yrs. Some friends from the PHS class of "71" decided to have lunch there. The food was fantastic and the prices. I couldn't believe I got a burger and fries for $6..what a deal !! Highly recommended this place for the good food and service?”

“We were in Bay City visiting. My wife and daughter stumbled upon Excited Goat and fell in love. They took me the next day and I too loved it. From the staff to the food and coffee hands down better than the giant coffee shops. I even bought a T-shirt and wear it with pride. Next time in town will definitely be back.”

“Wow WOW WOW.... My GF saw a post on Facebook, so we made the plan and drove over an hour and made our way to Gilly's... We walked in and was a bit shocked... Not very many tables but was shockingly it was REALLY busy... So we had read and reread the post and decided that we were going to get the specials (street corn/steak taco and the steak burrito, then decided we were going to try the birria tacos and the tamales) OMG.... So awesome and great! Definitely authentic and everything was definitely homemade! She told us it would be 20 min... And now I see why! There had to have been at least 5ppl come in and pick up orders while we were waiting for our food... While there don't have a liquor license... They definitely make up for it with the quality of their food! I absolutely can't wait to go back .. thank you Gilly's crew!!! Top notch in my book.”

“My favorite pizza of all time. Our family drives over an hour and always orders extra to take home. Try the stuffed mushrooms also! Perfect and loaded with cheese and flavor! I've had nearly the entire menu and have never been disappointed in food service or company.”

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is so relaxing and fun, and the staff are very friendly and genuine. I highly recommend the house bloody mary, which has a variety of delicious pickled veggies. 11/10 stars.”

“I spent over 10 years working downtown Frankenmuth for every festival. St Patricks in BC has that same vibe. This staff is the best around. I know what it's like to be overwhelmed but I've never witnessed a more professional group. Everyone at Coonan's are at the top of their game. We love you!”

All gluten-free and they definitely didn't cross contaminate...made sure they knew that was important. I highly recommend their food. Everyone else loved their food as well. A first for all of us but definitely not the last!”

“This was only my 2nd time in and first time actually getting anything and I know anytime I'm driving through Bay City I'm probably going to stop in now! The orange cardamom latte was delectable, the staff was super personable and very nice, and the atmosphere was just as chill as it felt like it should be. Can't recommend it enough.”

“Took the family out tonight because we simply didn’t feel like cooking. The food was fantastic as always… no complaints on any of the food! The atmosphere was great! My kids loved listening to the Reggae music and we had a good time. However the server left much to be desired… she never came by to check how our food was, our drinks were very low for a while and she never asked if we wanted refills until we were done eating and waiting for the bill. The whole time it seemed as though the server was more interested in sitting at the bar and chatting than anything else. I do love this place and plan on returning, hopefully it was just a fluke as this is the first less than perfect experience I’ve had there.”

We were having a very sour night beforehand and he did excellent turning the tables mood with his light humor.
