“Wow WOW WOW.... My GF saw a post on Facebook, so we made the plan and drove over an hour and made our way to Gilly's... We walked in and was a bit shocked... Not very many tables but was shockingly it was REALLY busy... So we had read and reread the post and decided that we were going to get the specials (street corn/steak taco and the steak burrito, then decided we were going to try the birria tacos and the tamales) OMG.... So awesome and great! Definitely authentic and everything was definitely homemade! She told us it would be 20 min... And now I see why! There had to have been at least 5ppl come in and pick up orders while we were waiting for our food... While there don't have a liquor license... They definitely make up for it with the quality of their food! I absolutely can't wait to go back .. thank you Gilly's crew!!! Top notch in my book.”

“The best ice cream! It's never a bad experience here. It's a little small inside but on a nice day you can go outside and enjoy the view of the water. The staff is always friendly and is good at answering questions. The quality of their ice cream is the best because it's all made in-house and just tastes so creamy and fresh. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is so relaxing and fun, and the staff are very friendly and genuine. I highly recommend the house bloody mary, which has a variety of delicious pickled veggies. 11/10 stars.”

“My husband and I were hungry visiting Bay City and wanted some Mexican food. We've tried others in Bay City, and left disappointed. We stumbled upon this place and couldn't be more pleased. Not only was the service fast and friendly, the food was delicious. The sauce on the tamale was phenomenal, and the rice was perfect as well. My husband loved the Birria tacos. I'm a picky eater but nothing about this place left me hungry. Will be back.”

“I spent over 10 years working downtown Frankenmuth for every festival. St Patricks in BC has that same vibe. This staff is the best around. I know what it's like to be overwhelmed but I've never witnessed a more professional group. Everyone at Coonan's are at the top of their game. We love you!”

“This gluten-free cauliflower crust with pesto sauce, chicken, fire roasted pepper, sun dried tomatoes, and artichokes was amazing!! All gluten-free and they definitely didn't cross contaminate...made sure they knew that was important. I highly recommend their food. Everyone else loved their food as well. A first for all of us but definitely not the last!”

“Service was fantastic! The food was cooked wonderfully and in great portions for the price. He had a wet burrito with chicken. Ground chicken was used which he wasn't a fan of, but said it was still remarkable. We also ordered deep fried green beans. They were cooked very well however, it would have been great to have a bit more flavor added to the breading (seasonings). I had the fried pollock with French fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked well done per my request and was delicious. The fries were crispy and the tar tar sauce was on point (if you like the tangy zip of miracle whip!). I was not a fan of the coleslaw. It tasted like the store bought jug one buys in large quantities. Overall, the food was absolutely worth it, the service was five star, and their drink selection is phenomenal as well, though we did not partake.”

“Excellent microbrewery in Bay City. A wide variety of taps with many rotating with specialty and seasonal brews. Although they do not have a kitchen, they do a great job of hosting a variety of food trucks and you are always welcome to bring your own food or order some food in. Their new patio area will be a great place to hang out as the weather is getting warmer. Highly recommended, be sure to give them a try!”

“The girls that worked here were great!! They got my 12 yo exactly what he wanted even though it wasn't really a menu item. They were making crepes and it smelled incredible! Highly recommend over the big chain coffee places if you close by or on us 10 ita worth the quick detour”

The orange cardamom latte was delectable, the staff was super personable and very nice, and the atmosphere was just as chill as it felt like it should be. Can't recommend it enough.”
