It came to the table looking so picture perfect I coudn't wait to dig in, and when I did........OH MY GOD IT WAS GREAT! As always the service was equally as great! “I and my father seen some guys outside cooking ribs over charcoal after seeing a sign that said " Ribs on Thursday's". We had to try them out. Both of us got the full rack. Oh my gosh were they delicious! We both thought these were the best ribs we've ever had from any restaurant. The flavor of the charcoal and the sauce cooked on them was the best! We live 100 miles south by Lansing, and will definitely make the drive again for those ribs!”

“The buffet is a great deal. A good variety of different pizzas, salad bar, cheese bread, c and cinnamon sticks! They were visibly short staffed when we went but still managed to keep the biggest stocked and friendly service. A small town treasure.”

“We went for college graduation. Called ahead and said 15 people and ended up with 25! They put us in the back room and it was great! Service was top notch, food was fantastic. When extras showed up they just went with the flow. Wish I lived closer I would be a regular here. Thanks again for accommodating a large group! “A huge shout out to Trina and Tara! These girls deserve 10 stars! I went in for dinner last week with my mother and niece. We came at the height of the dinner rush, the tables and bar were 95% full! Alone this dynamic duo ran the bar, serviced all the tables, ran keno, bused tables, etc all with a great attitude and smiles on their faces! Having a cottage in the area, I've been a patron for over 20 years! The food and service have always been good, hence the reason it is always my first choice when I'm in town. I love Keno as well and I find unless there is a self-service machine the wait staff can get nasty about having to run it. Not these two, they did it ALL, and in a timely manner! Every time they walked past a table, whether delivering food or taking orders, they asked if everything was OK or if you needed anything. We were in and out in a reasonable time! You would have never thought that there were only 2 people running the floor! Not to be forgotten, kudos to the kitchen staff that served up great food, helped run food and bus tables! Definitely a go to restaurant! Thank you all!”

Food hits the spot every time, the place is clean enough to eat your fries off the table (not recommended, but emotionally it feels possible), and the staff are genuinely nice without that “I’ve said hello 400 times today” robot energy.
Basically: it’s comfort food that behaves itself, and a staff that makes you feel like you didn’t just show up hungry and slightly feral.”

“This subway is located inside a gas station/convenience store. The woman working there was very efficient with keeping up with orders from walk-ins and mobile orders. The food was fresh and very good. They even had broccoli soup available at 7:30 at night on a cold day with freezing rain and snow showers. Given she was working alone, she handled it all with grace and did not seem at all rushed. She was efficient and pleasant.

“First time here and was looking for something not a "chain". Glad we stopped The burger was awesome, the onion rings were among the best we have ever had and the fish tacos had generous portion of perch and a great sauce. Sitting lakeside on the patio was perfect. My only critique and it's probably picky but the salsa served with the tacos was definitely out of a Pace jar. DDefinitely recommend.”
